What is Welba?

Welba is a free iOS and Android app that allows users to set personal or team challenges across a range of activities spanning physical, well-being, environmental and community. Challenges can either be for fun (for the challenge) or for charity. Welba records the impact challenge participants make by connecting to Apple Health and Google Fit.

Who is Welba for?

Welba is for anyone to join.

Individuals use Welba to set personal or team challenges to boost well-being or contribution towards positive environmental change. Individuals also use Welba as a fundraising platform that tracks fundraise progress and that of the activity (eg. distance covered and time spent taking part in a challenge).

Companies join Welba as part of their workplace wellness, CSR or employee-led fundraising initiatives (eg. inviting their employees to contribute towards a team goal of walking 40,000km, to spend a day volunteering or going plastic free for a day).

Charities use Welba as a virtual fundraising platform to engage wider audiences and collect anonymised data on supporter participation. We have zero transaction fees so that 100% of a donation through Welba goes to the charity.

Schools use Welba as a way to encourage pupils to engage in well-being activities over the weekend driving youngsters to spend more time outdoors, exercising and working towards a team goal.
